Testimonials
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. Choosing a nursing home for someone you love can be an overwhelming and emotional experience however, we felt that our concerns were heard and it was a seamless transition from the hospital to there care.
I especially want to recognize Milena Alfaro, the Director of Nursing, who has been an incredible asset to this facility. Anytime an issue or concern came up, Milena was there to listen, address it, and help find a solution. She was approachable, responsive, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure things were handled appropriately. She never made us feel like our concerns were an inconvenience, and she always took the time to communicate with us and follow through.
The nurses, CNAs, and other staff members also deserve recognition for the work they do every day. We have encountered many caring individuals who treated our loved one with patience and respect. The facility has been very welcoming, and we appreciate everyone who has contributed to making our experience a positive one.
Milena truly deserves special recognition. Her professionalism, compassion, communication, and willingness to go above and beyond have made a lasting impression on our family. She is an amazing Director of Nursing and a tremendous asset to this facility. Having someone in a leadership position who is willing to listen, step in when needed, and make sure residents receive the care they deserve provides families with so much reassurance. She is exactly the type of person you want overseeing the nursing care of your loved one. We are extremely grateful for her support and for everything she has done for our family. I would absolutely recommend this facility to other families looking for a place where their loved one will be cared for and where their concerns will be taken seriously.”

“Upon my visit, I have watched some of these nurses go above and beyond. Specifically the Ms.Alfaro. I am truly grateful for her. Although my aunt was being placed here, she also allowed me to vent to her about my concerns about being apart from her and feeling bad that I didn’t have the time or knowledge to care for her myself. She made me feel like I could count on her and her staff to properly care for my aunt. She is absolutely amazing.”

“I must disagree with all these negative comments that I am seeing. To mention the DON by name and say she doesn’t care about people is unfair. This woman dedicates her life to these patients and to characterize her efforts as nothing but snacking during meetings is insulting to her and all the Unit Managers. I have worked in many facilities and the problems one encounters here are the same wherever you go, but plenty of places DON’T have the level of dedicated nursing staff that are working hard at Arnold Walter.”

“Our family wants to share our perspective. We have had a wonderful experience here, and our loved one receives loving, attentive care every single day. We know our Director of Nursing Milena who I seen work tirelessly for the residents and my aunt and has been nothing but attentive and compassionate more than any other in the past years since having my family in and out of Arnold Walter because of hospital visits. It is important to know that a DON focuses on clinical care and nursing staff, not corporate budgets or purchasing power and I know this because of the career I have had. If there are supply shortages, that responsibility falls on upper facility management and ownership to fund and supply the building properly. Please let’s support the nursing staff and direct our calls for better resources to the facility administrators who control the budget.”
